Daily Photo Theme: Graffiti
The graffiti is located in Kuningan intersection. One of the busiest streets in Jakarta. The graffiti looks amazing to me because it shows Homer Simpson in traditional Javanese clothes, wearing farmer cap and bringing farmer tools, looking at the city of Jakarta and wondering, “Where’s the rice field?”. I guess the artist wanted to express how he felt overwhelmed by many tall buildings in Jakarta.

This is such fun - the guy is an artist - great idea to cheer up a tunnel. I’d be scared I’d crash the car looking at it. Good to see Homer in your part of the world.
Thanks guys, glad you like it. Denton, I already forgot about how the Simpson played on tv. I believe we still keep the original English version. Please others, correct me if I’m wrong.

Thanks for posting this. I was in Jakarta recently and was very eager to find out what Homer is saying here. In fact I was very impressed with the quality of graffiti throughout Jakarta.
