The March of ‘Tandur’

jdp-tandur

These Jakarta’s children were putting their serious faces while doing tandur. Tandur, stands for “tanam mundur”, is a unique method of walking backward and putting the rice straws to the field row by row. Although they became dirty and exhausted, this downtown activity seemed so fun for these uptown children.

NB: So sorry, I should have uploaded this picture yesterday but then there was a thunder that made my internet fail to connect.
