Go further up for elevator 6 & 7. It’s a common view in Jakarta when people transports large size things using motorbike without considering their safety or other’s.

Blue Bird taxis lined up near Plaza Senayan, Jakarta. Considered the most recommended taxi brand in Jakarta, the vehicle’s blue color even being copied by some of its competitors. So the next time you’re waiting for a taxi in Jakarta’s street, don’t just wave your hand at any blue one. =)

Traffic Outside, Crowded Inside

This is what all commuters in Jakarta have to face every morning: heavy traffic on most roads and full crowd in public transportation. A friend of mine who has been traveling many cities once said to me, “If you can survive in Jakarta, you can survive anywhere in the world!” Hahaha, agree?

Taxi Order

Just in case you haven’t heard, Blue Bird taxi, the safest taxi in Jakarta, has launched “SMS Taksi” service where we could order their taxi by short message in our mobile phone. I use Blue Bird regularly and I’m comfortable making a phone order to them. But I’ll definitely try this new service someday.
