one of Indonesian mass transportation.. the ticket is about Rp. 1.500,-

it’s quite reasonable for Jakarta-Bogor trip, but there are some people that always choose to get on top of these train for free-trip, and they seem to enjoy their time up there. forgot about the risk they might have.

long weekend means people are travelling outside of jakarta. therefore, streets are empty, public buses are parked. a heaven to drive in jakarta this weekend..

April 23, 2007 - Bemo

Here’s another one of ’something about to disappear’. Bemo, an old public transport which is still exist around Benhil (Bendungan Hilir) area in Central Jakarta. I’m pretty sure that you wouldn’t find them anywhere else in Jakarta.

Anyway, pardon my few days of absence. My daughter’s been having a terrible cough and I didn’t get a chance to post pictures. 21 April was a very important day and I missed it, although I did post about it last year. Selamat Hari Kartini (Happy Kartini Day) to all my fellow Indonesian women!
